Description

I am selling my stunning Sottero and Midgley Wedding dress. It’s a UK Size 8 (tag on the dress says size 6 which is the USA size).

It’s a gorgeous dress as you can see from the pictures in Diamond White, which is a pure white – amazing with the diamates and beads.

This dress originally cost me £900.

It’s very flaterring on as it’s a fitted style. It has a built in corset with a lace up back.
It has a draped side skirt effect which starts about half way down the thigh on the left side and then pleats out into the train.
It’s decorated with clusters of diamantes and beads around the bust, sides and corset.

The gown is made from taffeta and has a beautiful shine to it.
It has a silk underskirt/lining with a small netting layer underneath to puff it out.

It’s a UK Size 8 and fitted me perfectly. My measurements are hips 32″, waist 27″, bust 32″.

I did have the length professionally altered to fit me (I am 5ft 7). It can be worn with or without a single hoop underskirt (not included).
I wore it with a single hoop underskirt and wore 2.5″ heels. This allowed the dress to hover about 1 inch of the ground and allowed it to flow beautifully when you walk.

I also had the seamstress add in a hook up at the back so the train can be tied up for the evening.
It has a 3 button/hoop system on the inside of the lining.
You simply take the first button to first hoop, second button to second hoop and then third button to third hoop.
It creates a lovely layered effect at the back which hopefully you can see in the last picture.

I wore it for my wedding in Austria in the snow and it sparkled like ice.

It’s only been worn for 1 day and I have had it professionally dry cleaned afterwards.
Unfortunately mud is not a friend of white wedding dresses, so there is some faint mud stains but these are thankfully only on the lining and around the hem.
But as they are faint, they cannot be seen through the dress.
Hopefully the pictures show up how white it looks.
There are no other staines/tears etc on the dress.
It’s in perfect condition.

I am also including the travel box I brought for the dress.
It’s a white sturdy cardboard box that meets the airline cabin bag measurements.
I used it to carry my dress to Austria and the dress fitted in perfectly.
I also include lots of acid free tissue paper to wrap it in.

Of course it also comes with the dress bag/cover.
