Description

This is a Justin Alexander dress style 8436 colour: platinum, original cost £1400 without alterations. I got confused about the US sizing throughout the buying period, but I am a size 12-14 and it fit me.

I also had a corset back put in so it it will probably also fit slightly bigger or smaller. The corset is very sturdy and can be pulled quite tight (which I loved). I had the dress taken up so the buyer must be my height or smaller, I am 5′ 2″ and I wore 3 inch heels. I have also added a bustle so the train can be shortened in the evening.

I have paid £100 to have the dress professionally cleaned.

The dress definitely has the “wow factor” and is perfect for someone who wants to wear something a bit different without being too “out there”. After falling in love with the dress I found it in white but decided the platinum colour gives the dress a lovely vintage feel which tied in with my wedding, and made me feel like I had something truly unique. I would love to keep it but quite honestly, I need the money. I hope it can make someone else as happy as I was.
