Description

This dress made my day perfect- as a size 16, 36DD, it flattered in all the right places and was so comfy. So many comments on how beautiful it was…!

Exquisite corded lace covers the whole dress over warm ivory satin, with tiny seed pearls and clear sequins that catch the light without being ‘glitzy’. It’s got a lovely vintage feel- the sash is soft champagne gold, and the train falls to a stunning scalloped edge that fell perfectly in pictures.

The sash originally had silver beading on the knot and the ends of the ribbon, but as my wedding was a christmas ‘gold, red and green’ theme my dressmaker replaced this with subtle gold beading and seed pearls over lace to match the dress.

Covered buttons run up the back, cleverly concealing a zip which was much easier to get in (and out!) of.

The dress is spotless- not a mark on it, and goes perfectly with a very simple veil and vintage style accessories.

It doesn’t have a corset to ‘heave you in till you can’t breathe’ but is boned, and made me look much slimmer than I am!
