Description

Gorgeous pure silk dress, beaded in a stunning design with sparkling Swarovski crystals. This is such a beautiful dress, it seems a pity for me to store it when it could be worn by someone else and give them such joy on their big day.

Lovely and cool to wear for a summer wedding despite the vast amount of fabric due to the natural fabric and hoop which show off the design to full effect.

Lace up bodice at back with full boning. Sweetheart neckline with detachable shoe-string straps included. The lace up back gives plenty of room for changes in weight, combined with the boning this allows for your waist to be drawn in tight and show a flat stomach. The full skirt of the dress with the hoop underneath accentuates a small waist. I never imagined wearing a dress of this shape but when I put it on it made me feel amazing. There is an internal strap as well as the boning to make a perfect fit for the bodice. Along with the hoop for the for the skirt of the dress this means no extra expense is required on underwear!

The tags in the dress show it as a size US 8, Aus 10, UK 10, but my back and bust size were more like a size 14 and the lace up bodice with full boning allowed for that. I’m about 5’7” tall and wore about 3” heels to get the dress just right. If taller you could use a smaller hoop which would lengthen the dress. 3 tier hoop, originally £75, included in the price.

The dress has a hidden loop on the back so you can bring the train if required.

I was going to have the dress cleaned but as this is about £100, I thought I would just knock that off the price I wanted for it in case you can get it done any cheaper!
